Greetings, CityCamper!

We’re so excited that you’ve chosen to be a part of this year’s CityCamp NC event! We want to make sure that your experience is the best it can be so we have important information we want to share to help in that endeavor.

  • First time attendees of CityCamp NC or an unconference event? Check out our “6 Things First Time CityCampers Should Know” as a helpful guide. We hope it helps get your familiar with the format and even sparks an idea to pitch!
  • Getting to and from CityCamp NC event space at the Cannon Room @ HQ Raleigh and Nash Hall isn’t hard, but there are a few things to be aware. Check out our navigation guide on location, parking, and road closures due to other weekend events.

What about the schedule for CityCamp NC? We’ve got a general flow for you below, but to get the more nitty gritty details be sure to check out our schedule page for the most up-to-date information. It will be updated as the sessions get ironed out for the unconference for Friday.

  • Thursday, September 28th
    • 5:30pm – 8:00pm at HQ Capital Club / HQ Raleigh space, Downtown Raleigh | Kickoff Event with Lightning talks (Note, do not show up to the HQ Raleigh location in the Warehouse District as CityCamp NC will not be there.)
  • Friday, September 29th
    • 9:00am – 5:00pm at Nash Hall, Downtown Raleigh | Keynote speakers, a public-private sector Smart Cities panel discussion, and unconference sessions
    • 5:30pm – 7:30pm hosted by Google Fiber, Downtown Raleigh Google Fiber | Networking social happy hour
    • 7:30pm  at Tobacco Road Sports Cafe | Additional networking social
  • Saturday, September 30th
    • 9:00am – 4:00pm at Nash Hall, Downtown Raleigh | Code for NC hackathon / code sprint, NC Datapalooza competition kickoff
