In June, Opensource.com has a writing opportunity for those interested in sharing their open government or open data story. Opensource.com garners more than 600,000 page views a month–a great way to get your name, story, or both, in front of a global audience. If this is interesting to you or know someone who has a great story to share, keep on reading for the rest of the details.

Write a 500-1000 word article on the topic of open data or open government. In June, Opensource.com will feature a series of articles on these topics.

Submission deadline: May 29

Article ideas include:

  • Your experience working on a project to help citizens use open data, to help government use open source software, to help government be more transparent, etc.
  • Other initiatives, by other groups or companies
